After the hustle and bustle of Black Friday, and the hours of surfing for the perfect gifts on Cyber Monday, we will approach Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday was established to help communities join together and support various charitable organizations. This Tuesday, November 29, 2016, Hartford Chorale is asking for you to join the movement and invest in sustaining local cultural organizations, specifically Hartford Chorale. We are very thankful for the financial support from various foundations and corporate sponsors, however the reality of today’s economy means that we need to look beyond the highly competitive environment of corporate foundation sources in order to meet our 2016-2017 budget goals. Ticket revenue typically only covers 30-40% of the costs for each production, and we rely on the generosity of donors, like you, to ensure we can continue to thrive and move forward, while maintaining the high standards you have come to expect of us. We are asking you to help support us by Bridging the Gap. Our goal is to supplement our operating budget by $4,000 through the #GivingTuesday campaign.
